HANetf appoints new senior hires to build on its strong growth

HANetf, Europe’s first full services ‘white label’ UCITS ETF issuer, is delighted to confirm that it has appointed new hires in its Sales, Marketing and Product Teams.

Simon Dale joins HANetf as Head of Sales.  He will be responsible for the company sales strategy across Europe, and its implementation. In particular, he will focus on helping HANetf grow its active ETF offering and further automating the sales process. Simon has previously held senior sales and business development roles at several asset management companies including Heads of Sales at Woodford Investment Management, Matthews Asia and Invesco. He has nearly 30 years’ distribution experience and will add significantly to the HANetf distribution and leadership team. He will also become a member of the firm’s executive team.

Liam Wyatt joins the Marketing as Content Manager and Investment Writer.  Liam joins HANetf from MitonOptimal where he was Marketing and Operations Manager.

Ramon Williams joins HANetf as Operations Analyst.  Ramon joins HANetf from Fulcrum Asset Management where he was Team Lead and Operations Associate.

In February 2021, HANetf appointed Manooj Mistry as Chief Operating Officer where he was formerly CEO of DWS Investments UK Limited and Head of Xtrackers ETFs and Index Investing at DWS.

The new appointments join as HANetf’s assets under management have reached over $2.5 billion in recent weeks.   At the start of this year, AUM was around $1.12 billion.

Co-CEO of HANetf, Hector McNeil, said: “HANetf currently offer 14 ETFs, and have a pipeline of 15 ETF launches planned for later this year. Simon, Liam and Ramon bring a huge amount of experience, which we will use to further enhance our distribution and product strategy and growth.

With nearly 30 years of experience, Simon brings an unparalleled knowledge of active fund sales which we see as a huge growth opportunity for HANetf and the European ETF industry more generally.   We have several active ETFs in the immediate pipeline and expect it to be at least 20% of our offering over time. Simon is the right level of senior appointment for HANetf, which is one of the fastest growing ETF firms in Europe and globally.”
