and Business Development
Simon Mott has been appointed Director of Marketing
Adding 20 years of combined ETF experience
London, 08 January 2018 – HANetf is delighted to announce two senior hires, further
expanding the expertise and capabilities of Europe’s first independent white
label ETF platform.
Jason Griffin has been appointed as Director, Capital Markets and
Business Development. Griffin brings 10 years of experience in ETFs and over 20
years in the financial sector, most recently at Source. Prior to that, he
worked for Tradition and Blackrock, heading up UK and European sales and
oversight for broker dealer sales and capital markets. Griffin reports to
Hector McNeil and is responsible for business development and management of
existing client relationships.
Simon Mott has been appointed as Director of Marketing. Mott brings
over 14 years of experience gained from senior marketing roles, most recently
at index leader FTSE Russell, where he was responsible for the development and
execution of the company’s global ETF and Wealth Management marketing strategy.
Reporting to Hector McNeil, Mott will be responsible for driving all aspects of
marketing strategy, brand awareness and customer engagement.
Hector
McNeil said “The market reaction to the launch of HANetf has been beyond our
expectations and the pipeline of potential clients is looking very healthy. Our
main focus at this point is building the company’s systems, processes and most
importantly the team. The hires of Jason and Simon bring invaluable ETF
experience to the company, nearing 100 years across the team.”
“Jason
has in-depth Capital Markets and sales experience which we will lean on heavily
as we build our market making and authorised participant network. He will also
help source and on-board new asset management clients. Simon is one of the leading marketers in the European ETF
market. He has vast experience working with multiple issuers and asset managers
as partners whilst at FTSE Russell and this will be extremely useful to HANetf
and its clients.”
