HANetf, Europe’s first and only independent white-label ETF and ETC platform, and leading provider of digital asset ETPs, is delighted to announce that it has won three more awards since the start of 2023.
At the ETF Express European Awards 2023, HANetf won the prize for Most Innovative EU ETF Issuer for the third consecutive time. HANetf has continued to be at the forefront of the ETF industry, and has been first-to-market on numerous themes. Last year, the company launched Europe’s first Metaverse ETF, a uranium ETF in partnership with Sprott Asset Management, and a future of finance ETF with Grayscale Investments.
HANetf also launched Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure UCITS ETF (ELEC), the world’s first electric vehicle charging infrastructure ETF, which this year won the award for Most Innovative ESG ETF at the ESG Investing Awards 2023. These prestigious awards are uniquely devoted to assessing and evaluating the best companies involved in all areas of ESG investing across the globe. ELEC tracks the Solactive Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Index, and its latest monthly report can be found here.
In addition to this, The Royal Mint Responsibly Sourced Physical Gold ETC (RMAU) won the XENIX ETF Special Award UK 2023. RMAU provides exposure to gold bars custodied by The Royal Mint. All the gold bars in the ETC are LBMA post-2019 Good Delivery bars, and last year the ETC became partially backed by 100% recycled gold. So far this year, RMAU has been certified as shariah-compliant, and also had its first ever physical redemption—where Wahed was delivered a 1 oz gold bar.
Hector McNeil, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of HANetf, comments: “We are delighted to have won these awards, highlighting our innovative new funds, and our continued progression as a company. At HANetf, we are dedicated to bringing new themes to investors, which is evidenced by us being first-to-market with so many themes last year.
“We thank our partners and collaborators for helping us to deliver these ambitious products, and give thanks to the award providers for recognising our contributions to the rapidly growing European ETF industry.”
